New speed limits and signage for Temp Town roads and housing estates are to be introduced in August.

On Temp Town's rural roads some 80km/h signs will be replaced with new ones indicating drivers must drive at appropriate speeds.

In Temp Town housing estates and other built up areas around Temp Town provision is being made for slow zones. Currently the legal speed limit in Temp Town housing estates is 50kmh.

New signs will indicate to drivers that the limit is 30km/h and will warn of vulnerable people in the area like children at play.
