Two men to appeared before Special Criminal Court this evening (15/4/16) at 5pm.

Two men arrested on Wednesday 13th April 2016 under the provisions of Section 30 –Offences Against the State Act 1939 as a result of an intelligence led operation conducted by Gardaí attached to Crime and Security section and the Special Detective Unit, when a car was stopped by members of the Emergency Response Unit on the Naas Road, inbound just before the Long Mile Road junction. The car was believed to contain explosives (subject to forensic examination).

The two menappeared before the Special Criminal Court, Criminal Courts Of Justice, Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 at 5pm this evening (15/4/16)
