Gardaí at Naas Co Kildare are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Allenwood South, Naas, Co Kildare.

Gardaí and Emergency Services were alerted to the incident shortly before 6am this morning (27/4/16). A car left the road at the above location and entered the canal. The body of a male in his 30's (only occupant) was taken from the car.

The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local Diversions are in place.
