Gardaí appeal for witnesses to a two vehicle collision in Co Westmeath where a woman has been killed.

The incident took place at Bunbrosna, on the N4 Dublin to Sligo road outside Mullingar, at around 9.20am this morning.

The woman was the sole occupant of her car.

A man and a woman, who were in the second vehicle, have been taken to hospital following the incident.
