Gardaí are seeking the Listowel'a assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 54 year old William Mulvihill, missing from the Tralee area since 22nd August 2016.


William, a native of Ballybunion, was last seen in the Tralee bypass area on the night of Monday 22nd August 2016. William is described as being 5'3" in height, of medium build with green eyes. He has red receding hair and a thick moustache. When last seen William was wearing a tweed suit jacket, chequered shirt and blue jeans.

Mr Mulvihill had been a patient of University Hospital Kerry in Tralee in August, but discharged himself. He then called to a house looking for directions. The woman at the house contacted Gardaí as she felt Mr Mulvihill seemed confused and disoriented.

When Gardaí found him again they brought him back to the hospital, where he couldn't be re-admitted for 24 hrs as he had already signed himself out.

The last confirmed sighting of 54 year old William Mulvihill, of Ozanam Villas, Ballybunion, was on August 21st, was close to the Kielduff roundabout.
