You just know there are some gadgets in your kitchen that you just cannot do without, well this is one of mine, a nutmeg grater the flavour you get from freshly grated nutmeg opposed to the ready ground is chalk & cheese ! Most good cook shops sell them, this one in the photo is from Smyths in Enniscorthy at a snap of only €2.99 what a bargain ! I'm going to do a series of posts over the next few weeks dedicated to this wonderful spice, chat soon .....
