Sunday morning just gone I found myself is desperate need for a good strong coffee to aid me on my journey south so I pulled into the Applegreen station on the Stillorgan road, this one is a first for me as I usually wait till I reach the Coynes Applegreen station at exit 14 and I'm delighted I did, what a wonderful pit stop it is ! Full of all sorts of goodies for ones on road travels, not to mention extremely friendly staff (especially the coffee server) Anyone who knows me is aware of my huge love for coffee and I wasn't disappointed, great coffee, great choice of foods and goodies and a lovely cafe to boot that's if your not in a hurry to get where you are going. Applegreen stations are for me the best in the country and Irish owned it can't get any better than that, oh but it can in 2016 alone they have donated over €90,798.27 so far to charities (childline, Bernardo's & Jack n Jill's children's foundation) they also have a great loyalty award program and are usually cheaper petrol/diesel prices than esso or topaz (not a fan) and the Applegreen stations are super clean..it's a win win I'd say.

Safe travels
