Iain
Hi Sandra, Yes it was, I will gladly join North Kildare Bowling Club. Because I work away a lot I have been a member of other clubs in England and up north in Scotland which created problems for me internally because in our constitution you are only allowed to be a member of 1 club unless you have prior permission from your committee (which I am a member of) to join. Basically its down to representation in the latter stages of competitions you can only represent 1 club In Scotland according to our rules but that is not the same as Bowls Scotland which I am a member of. It looks like my bowling season is in coming to a premature end in Scotland apart from a couple of internal competitions which are at the Quarter/semi final stage. If they are that important to me I will just fly back and forward to play the ties. I am a pipefitter coming over working for an English based agency which I understand has possibly more than a years work so there is a potential there for me to make some good money!! I have digs in Maynooth…..The job is in Maynooth and now I have a bowling club in Maynooth……….RESULT!!!!! lol. I will certainly play in any roll ups or bounce games that are available regarding the league I think I will be working Saturdays I think that's overtime but I'm not sure if its compulsory or not time will tell. Anyway Sandra I do go on a bit lol I will bring my bowls over with me and my greys and whites because I am driving over initially Please feel free to browse our website https:www.irvineparkbc.com Kindest Regards Iain

Iain - lovely to speak wth you earlier today. Yes we are open for bowls (and for membership for the year if you fancy playing league with us on Saturdays) Club is on the Kilcock road out of Maynooth. We're there most weekends and if you join us we have a WHATSAPP group for adhoc roll ups mid week Ask for Tom, Dudley, Eric or any of the Committe - Sandra

Hi There I am a bowler from Irvine in North Ayrshire. I play for the Irvine Park Bowling Club. I am coming to work in Maynooth on 29th July and I was wondering if I would be able to get a game or not. Cheers Iain
