New speed limits and signage for Donnybrook roads and housing estates are to be introduced in August.

On Donnybrook's rural roads some 80km/h signs will be replaced with new ones indicating drivers must drive at appropriate speeds.

In Donnybrook housing estates and other built up areas around Donnybrook provision is being made for slow zones. Currently the legal speed limit in Donnybrook housing estates is 50kmh.

New signs will indicate to drivers that the limit is 30km/h and will warn of vulnerable people in the area like children at play.
