An incredible performance saw local pole fitness star Terri Walsh and her partner Lisette Krol secure their third world championship doubles gold medal in Beijing yesterday.
The pair have consistently outperformed stiff competition from all around the world.
The town is immensely proud of their success.
Terri has being instructing pole fitness from her studio at K6 Maynooth Business Campus for many years now. We're sure her continued success will encourage and inspire many more to try out this amazing form of dance and fitness. If you ever meet any of her many current students you will understand how much they enjoy the classes and her superb and friendly tuition.
A huge congratulations to Michael Donohoe, also of the Fierce fitness studio, who came 8th in the fiercely competitive male singles category. It is a significant achievement just to reach the World Championships.
To give you a sense of the acrobatics, strength and style of the discipline here's a clip of Terri and Lisette performing on the late late show.
