Gardaí in Thomastown are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic collision yesterday.

At approximately 10.55am yesterday a 68-year-old man, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle was fatally injured after being involved in a three car collision in Dangan, Thomastown Co. Kilkenny. The man was treated at the scene by emergency services but died a short time later. His body has been removed to Waterford Regional Hospital. Two other males were brought to St Lukes Hospital with what is believed to be non life threatening injuries.
