Now I know what your thinking, breakfast bap really, has she lost her mind and taste buds but no, like the next person I love a good breakfast roll especially after a weekend of birthday celebration and far too much tequila !!! however I'm going to be honest here and say that I have stopped having them on the road for some time now as I just didn't like what was out there any more plus I make my better at home with a creamy brioche bun etc (as we all do) but hooray I found a wonderful bundle of savoury meat and bread joy at the Peacock Green on the Merrion Road (next to the Tara Towers hotel) a warm white fluffy floury bun with a gorgeous meaty sausage, smokey flavoursome bacon, light scrambled egg, wonderful black n white pudding with a smear of homemade chutney ...wowza

So not to be out done, the coffee was also delightful, a steamy cup of smouldering almost caramel chocolatelty flavour coffee, if your not obsessed with coffee like I am you will find their selection of tea is vast. The interior is beautiful, calm and homely, at the deli counter for a lunchtime goody, you will find Mediterranean filled focaccia, brioche and sour dough bread (they are huge !) A order of homemade soup & a choice of one of the above sandwiches is only €9.90 delish.....
