King's Hospital past pupil joins entertainers Rod Stewart, Ant & Dec, Brian Blessed and Dame Vera Lynn along side astronaut Tim Peake and striker and pundit Alan Shearer on the Queen's 90th birthday honours list.
Dr Oladapo Adetokunbo Odumeru, a past pupil from nearby King's Hospital school and Regional Quality Assurance Manager, NHS Blood and Transplant, received his MBE (Order of the British Empire: Members of the Order of the British Empire) from the Queen for his work setting up the Blood for Life Foundation and for services to black and minority ethnic blood donation communities.
