Huge congratulations to Leaving Cert Wolstan's student Caolann Brady who came second in the Biomedical and Health Sciences category of the SciFest in Los Angeles.

Caolain will have an asteroid named after her and takes home a cash prize of $1,500.

Her project focused on the natural treatment of asthma through humming and breathing techniques and she won the SciFest student science competition here last year.

The Intel competition is the world's largest international pre-college science competition. Over 1,700 students from over 75 countries competing for a prize fund totalling $4,000,000.
