At approximately 10pm last night four men forced entry to the home of an elderly local man near Taghmon, Co. Wexford.

The terrified pensioner was threatened by the four men who preceded to take a sum of money and electrical equipment.

The Gardaí were quick to act and arrested four males in the Enniscorthy area in a follow up operation.

Gardai have arrested the four men following our neighbour's ordeal last night. It's unknown how long it will take the victim to recover. Please keep an eye out and post any suspicious activity here on Bunclody Buzz to keep your neighbours up to date and of course keep the Gardaí informed.

The four men ranged in ages from their 20's to their 40's, are now detained under the provisions of Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Enniscorthy and Wexford Garda Stations.
