Today my mom pick up this huge jar of green olives from Aldi for only €4,99 ! I used the olives to make a tapenade and she used the jar to store lentils, so a great bargain all round I'd say, tapenade is so easy to make and is simply delicious....

2 cups green pitted olives

4 tbsp good olive oil

4 anchovy fillets

3 medium garlic cloves peeled

Cracked black pepper to season

Place all the olive ingredients in a food processor and whizz till the mix is a smooth paste, keep in an airtight container in the fridge ...thats it folks it couldn't be easier!
