Ahhh thank the stars it's Friday ! Crab claws are one of my all time favourite starters, however as it's freedom Friday I'm having these bad boys as a main coarse with a peppery fresh rocket salad and a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio...bliss !

Buttery sweet chilli crab claws

1 lb/ ½ kilo crab claws

100g butter

4 cloves crushed fresh garlic

½ cup sweet chilli sauce

½ cup white wine

Sea salt & cracked black pepper to taste

Pinch of dried chilli flakes (optional)

Freshly chopped fresh red chili's to garnish

Gently heat melt the butter in a pan throw in the garlic & sauté for 30 seconds add the crab, white wine, sweet chilli sauce and chilli flakes if using them, reduce to half the liquid, serve on a warm plate or bowl and wash it all down with a very chilled bottle of your choice of white wine or what ever you fancy...

Tips & Tricks

Finger bowls would be handy here and don't bother using cutlery just get stuck in ..

I served the claws with a fresh rocket & shaved parmesan salad ...
